Enramycin 8% Premix is a fermentation-derived polypeptide antibiotic feed additive produced by Streptomyces fungicidicus. Each kilogram contains 80 g of active enramycin (8% w/w) blended with a suitable carrier for uniform distribution in compound feed. It targets Gram-positive bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, especially Clostridium perfringens, the primary agent of necrotic enteritis in poultry.
Because of its large molecular size, enramycin is not absorbed from the gut lumen and is excreted largely unchanged, giving minimal tissue residue and no cross-resistance with β-lactams, tetracyclines, aminoglycosides or ionophores.
Mode of Action:
Inhibits bacterial cell-wall synthesis by blocking peptidoglycan transglycosylation → osmotic lysis of Gram-positive pathogens under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.
Key Benefits:
Controls subclinical & clinical necrotic enteritis in broilers/layers;
Reduces post-weaning diarrhea in piglets;
Improves FCR and daily gain at low inclusion;
Reduces wet litter, ammonia and footpad dermatitis risk;
Stable to pelleting/steam conditioning and long-term feed storage
Packing & Storage:
25 kg/bag
Cool, dry, ventilated, <30 °C, away from sunlight
Shelf life: 24 months
