DL-Methionine is a concentrated form of Methionine an essential Amino acid and very much important for poultry. But it is not synthesized by poultry. So supplementation of DL-Methionine with finished feed isimportant to get proper benefit from poultry.Deficiency of DL-Methionine causes decreased growth rate of birds, poor feathering, decreased egg productionof Layer, cannibalism, decreased feed efficiency, decreased weight & size of eggs.
